Student Government

The Student Government acts as a unit of the school organisation under the authority, guidance and advice of the principal.

The Student Government aims at

• Promoting the interest and the progress of the school in general and the individual student in particular
• Coordinating with the Principal and the staff in meeting the general needs and interests of the student body
• Instilling and developing in the students a deep sense of responsibility to enhance and improve the overall functioning of the school

Role of Head Girl and President

• The Head Girl and the President of the school are elected by the students of the secondary section and the staff of the school. They are the student leaders and true representatives of the school.
• The Head Girl and the President’s duties are to plan, organise and coordinate the various events and activities of the school.

House System

Membership of a house is an integral part of the student's education, helping each child to become a proud responsible member of a house community through active participation in house events and activities organized throughout the year.

The House System fosters team spirit, competition, cooperation and sportsmanship in students and inculcates a deep sense of belonging by being part of a cohesive group.

House Captains

• The house captains of the three houses are elected by the members of their respective houses.
• The house captain’s main duty is to plan and organize the various inter house events and activities of the houses.

Games Captain

• The Games Captains are elected by the respective members of the houses. Their main duty is to plan and organize the various games and activities of the houses.
