Curriculum

At the heart of a JB education lies the broad curriculum. The educational philosophy of the school underpins the curricular framework of subjects. The school has developed a sequential curriculum from LKG to Grade VIII, structured to build on the fundamental concepts of the previous year, consequently preparing the students for the subsequent level ahead. Thus a strengthening of foundations occurs simultaneously, along with an exploration and deeper understanding at higher levels.

The academic programme offered by the school is designed to prepare students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination, conducted by the Council for the I.S.C. Examination, New Delhi. The course of school studies extends from the Lower Kindergarten and culminates in a final, centralized external examination in the tenth grade.

The ICSE examination is a competitive examination conducted all over India, and is recognized by all the national (ISC, HSC and CBSE) as well as international (University of Cambridge A levels, and IB) boards. Students sit for examinations in 6 subjects. They also fulfill the requirement for Socially Useful and Productive Work (SUPW).
